Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 440!

Pack 440 proudly serves the youth of Lexington, Missouri, and the surrounding rural areas, offering Cub Scouting for children in grades K–5. We are part of the Blue Elk District within the Heart of America Council and have been chartered by the Lexington United Methodist Church since our founding in 1960.

Though small in number, Pack 440 has deep roots and a strong tradition of Scouting in our community. Our dedicated volunteer leaders are fully trained for their roles and complete Youth Protection Training every two years to ensure a safe and positive environment for all Scouts.

Our mission is to help every Scout grow in character, citizenship, and leadership, guided by the Scout Oath and Law. Through fun, hands-on experiences, we prepare our youth to crossover into a Scouts BSA Troop, continuing their Scouting adventure—perhaps even on the path toward Eagle Scout.

If you’re interested in volunteering or have a child who would like to join Pack 440, please click the button below to complete our contact form, and a member of our team will reach out to you soon.

Pack 440 Meetings

Meeting times and dates for each Den are determined by the Den Leader, based on what schedule works best for their group. The Pack comes together once per month for a Pack Meeting, usually held on the third Sunday.

Regular attendance is expected for all youth who join our Pack. Parents are responsible for arranging transportation to and from meetings and activities.

A Pack calendar listing monthly meetings, activities, and local Scouting events is distributed regularly and updated as needed. Families are encouraged to keep this calendar handy, as consistent participation in Scouting activities is key to ensuring a rewarding and successful Scouting experience for every Cub Scout.
